FAQs
What kind of photography do you specialize in?
I specialize in documentary-style photography, focusing on family portraits, events, and celebrations throughout the entire Bay Area. My work captures real, candid moments—not stiff, posed shots—so you can remember your story as it truly happened.
Documentary photography is all about authenticity. I don’t stage or overly direct; instead, I quietly observe and capture moments as they naturally unfold—emotions, connections, and all the in-between moments you might not notice.
Where are you based? Do you travel?
I’m based in San Jose, California, and serve the entire Bay Area, including Palo Alto, Santa Clara, Oakland, San Francisco, and beyond. I’m happy to travel for sessions. Feel free to reach out for details about travel fees for locations outside the Bay Area.
When do we receive our images? How many?
Your photos are precious, and I want to provide you with the best of what I take. This means I take about 2 – 4 weeks to carefully select and edit your images. A 4-hour event usually results in about 175 – 200 photos.
